Hello! I’m Caitlin, a designer with a focus on Gaelic language and culture, and I’ve been creating Gaelic clothing since 2012.

Sona is a small but important part of my creative work that I really love - seeing so many people connect with Gaelic clothing and want to wear it is really cool.

The online shop is a tiny wee operation run by me, my sister Sìne, and my wee brother Innes from a shipping container on the croft in Kilchoan, Ardnamurchan. Sìne and Innes both work at sea, and I live in Skye most of the time, so there isn’t always someone around to process orders straight away. Because of that, we usually have two posting days each month. Currently Kilchoan is without a Post Office, but our fantastic posties are a huge help and collect directly from the container. This means all collections need to be pre-arranged, but if you are in a hurry for something for a special occasion, get in touch and we'll do our very best to help if we can.
