Hello! I'm Caitlin, a designer with a focus on Gaelic language and culture, and I've been creating Gaelic clothing since 2012.

Earlier in 2026 I left my job to work on Sona full-time, and I love it. Seeing so many people connect with Gaelic clothing and want to wear it is really cool.

In September we opened the Sona Studio Shop on Wentworth Street in Portree, Isle of Skye. It's brilliant to finally have a home for Sona where people can come in, see everything in person and say hello.

The online shop is still a tiny wee operation, so orders may not always go out straight away. If you need something in a hurry for a special occasion, get in touch and we'll do our best to help.
